Wheat Lace Stitch

The Wheat Lace stitch is a lace stitch which resembles wheat, hence its name. This knit stitch is an eight-row repeat and involves purling on every wrong-sided row. The Wheat Lace stitch is a fast knit and the design can be fully seen after about twenty rows of knitting. Like other lace stitches, blocking is highly recommended when knitting the Wheat stitch. This gorgeous stitch is perfect for many knitted projects including hats, scarves, cowls and socks.
