The Welted Rib stitch is another take on the traditional Rib stitch. Knitted in a multiple of 6 stitches plus 4 and in a 2-row repeat, this stitch is easy to remember and does not require a lot of effort. This stitch consists of stockinette which makes up the ribbing, and slipped stitches situated in between each vertical rib. Like the Rib stitch, the Welted Rib stitch is reversible but it does not offer the same elasticity as the traditional rib.
