Peaks and Columns Stitch

The Peaks and Columns stitch is a lace stitch that is knitted in a multiple of 12 stitches and done in an 8-row repeat. The “peak” design of this stitch pattern runs vertically across the work and separated by stockinette columns. The Peaks and Columns stitch requires intermediate knitting techniques such as “ssk” (slip, slip, knit) and “k2tog” (knit 2 together). Note: blocking is recommended for optimal results.
