Hey knitters!
I’ve been working on this project, and I thought I should share it with you all. It has been very cold around here lately, which made me realize that I don’t have a hat to where! So I’ve been working on a hat for the past couple of days, and this is what I’ve come up with:
Those of you who follow this blog are probably thinking, “This hat looks familiar.” If so, then you are right! Several months ago, I knitted this same hat for my friend Meagan, but without the pom pom. This hat is simple and takes very little time to knit. The best part is that it’s reversible!
Here is the pattern. Check it out!
To make a pom pom, I used this tutorial by Bernat:
In this tutorial, the instructor is using her hand. I find that instead of using your hand, you can use a piece of thick cardboard or something of that nature. Or you can use a cup similar to this one, like I did:
This provides more stability and uniformity.
Also, I have a couple of projects on Ravelry. Please check it out, and if you have knitted some of my patterns, feel free to upload them to Ravelry. I would LOVE to see them! 😀
Happy knitting!

really cute! i love pom poms…i use the clover pom pom makers and they come out perfect everytime 🙂
I didn’t even know about the clover pom pom maker until now. This should save me some time on trimming for sure. Thank you!
