Fancy Horseshoe stitch is an elaborate version of the Horseshoe stitch. Its main design is the “horseshoe” which is seen in columns throughout the pattern. Each horseshoe column is separated by a column of “diamond” stitches. The Fancy Horseshoe stitch is rated intermediate in difficulty level because there are many increases and decreases. This pattern is not suitable for “TV knitting.”

Row 2 and every alt row: purl.
Row 3: k2, yo, k2, sl1, k2tog, psso, k2, *yo, k3, yo, k2, sl1, k2tog, psso, k2,; rep from * to last 2 sts, yo, k2.
Row 5: k2tog, (yo, k1) twice, *sl1, k2tog, psso, (k1, yo) twice, sl1, k2tog, psso, (yo, k1) twice; rep from * to last 7 sts, sl1, k2tog, psso, (k1, yo) twice, sl1, k1, psso.
Row 6: purl.
