Simple Baby Beanie Pattern

Hey knitters!

I’ve just finished my first knitted baby project. This beanie is designed for a newborn. So if you want to knit it for an older child feel free to adjust as needed. It’s a very simple beanie done with ribbed and stockinette stitches.

This is what it looks like finished…

I knitted a flower for my hat for that added flair. This is optional. Some other recommendations would be stripes or maybe you could add a pom pom.

For the middle part of the flower I simply made a big knot with my yarn. To make a knitted flower I used Susan B. Anderson’s technique.

This is what my flower looks like when put together…

And the final product…..drum roll please……

Tada!

1 skein of medium weight yarn 50g (I recommend something very soft for a baby)

Lady Macbeth

Hey everyone!
This is a new addition to my collection of poems. Check it out:

Lady Macbeth
Hate has finally consumed her
It entered the mind and is running through her veins
She takes no prisoners
Nor does she feel any pain
If you step in her way she will take you out
She will sow seeds of deception and make you doubt
If you are smart you will leave right now
If not, you will only exist if she allows
