Hello knitters!
As promised, I have posted the pattern for the skinny lace scarf that I designed. This scarf is knitted using the ridged lace stitch, giving it a ribbed look. I also used super chunky yarn, which came with sparkles on it to give it a little glam.
In my pattern, I added tassels to my scarf; this is optional. Instead, you can add pom poms or just leave the scarf tassel-less or pom pom-less. Either way, I think you’ll be happy with the results.
Materials
2 skeins of super bulky yarn (104 yards/95 meters each)
Size 15 (10mm)
Large crochet needle
Pattern
Cast on 8 sts.
Ridge Lace Stitch (multiple of 2 sts)
Row 1 (RS): k1, *yo, k2tog tbl; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 2: p1, *yo, p2tog; rep from * to last st, p1.
Repeat these two rows until the scarf reaches approximately 65 inches (165cm) and bind off. Block if needed. My scarf curled a little, so I steam-blocked it.
(Optional): With a crochet needle, attach tassels.

Can this be done as an infinity scarf?

Peg, I know this is a late response but I have not yet found a way to knit this in the round. The only other way to make this into an infinity is to knit it to the desired length and then stitch or graft the two ends together.
can this be made wider….i have bought this yarn at michaels. its beautiful yarn…its like a wheat color.
Yes it can be made wider. This pattern works on a multiple of stitches. So as long as it is a multiple of 2, it will work.
