The Irish Mesh stitch is a beautiful, open lace pattern that offers a structural, geometric look rather than a traditional delicate lace. Because it is worked as a simple 4-round repeat, it is easy to memorize and works up quickly. When knitted in the round, this stitch is perfect for seamless projects like cowls, hats, and market bags.
