If you follow me on the Pattern Street app, you might know that I had recycled a previously knitted sweater. I decided to use the yarn to knit some kitchen towels. This project comes during a perfect time, as I’m in the midst of taking a break from a few different WIPs.

The waffle-like stitch offers incredible texture while the i-cord provides a clean edge and loops for hanging. I used both the yarn from the recycled sweater and leftover yarn from the Orelia Drawstring Bucket Purse as alternating colors for contrast.

The Knitted Kitchen Towel with Loops for Hanging offers functional practicality and style and is the perfect quick knit project for summer. Knit a set for a housewarming or baby shower gift!
