Pattern
Multiple of 3 sts
Skill: easy
Rd 1:Â *yo, sl1, k2, psso; rep from * to the end.
Rd 2:Â knit.
Rd 3:Â k2, *sl1, k2, psso, yo; rep from * to the last st, k1.
Rd 4:Â knit.
Repeat Rounds 1–4 until your piece reaches the desired length.
Knitting Abbreviations
k: knit
sl 1 (slip one): slip the next stitch onto the right-hand needle
yo (yarn over): wrap the yarn around the right-hand needle from back to front counterclockwise before knitting the next stitch. Then work the next stitch as normal.
psso (pass slipped stitch over): (This occurs after a slip stitch and regular stitch. Ex: k3, s1, k1, psso, k2. Knit 3 stitches, slip 1, knit 1, psso (lift slipped stitch over the knit 1 stitch and drop it off the needle), knit 2.
rep.: repeat
