Jute Stitch – in the round

Due to the slipped stitches, the Jute Stitch looks more like a weave style rather than a knit stitch pattern. On the opposite side, you’ll find a beautiful rib design minus the stretch quality you’d otherwise find on rib stitch patterns. Still knitted in a 2-round repeat, the Jute Stitch – in the round is a modified version of the original Jute Stitch for circular knitting. If you’re looking for an easy stitch pattern that looks gorgeous on either side, there’s no need to look any further. Perfect for any circular knitting project, whether an infinity scarf or beanie, you’ll find that this stitch is easy to remember and will knit up very quickly.
